HOW I BUILD A ONE-PAGE SITE IN 3 HOURS WITH AI (AND WHY THAT'S NOT CHEATING).
People hear 'AI-built website' and assume it means a templated, GPT-vomit landing page. It doesn't.
Here's the actual stack: Claude design for the brand system, Lovable for the React build, Claude Code for the integrations and edge cases. Together, those tools compress what used to be a two-week build into about three hours of focused work — for the production half. The strategy half (positioning, offer, copy hierarchy, what to cut) still takes the same brain it always did.
What AI killed: the busywork. The 'set up the build pipeline.' The 'write boilerplate components.' The 'wire up the form for the fifteenth time.' That's the 80% of agency hours that used to get billed at $200/hr and now takes minutes.
What AI didn't kill: knowing what to put on the page. Knowing why a contractor needs a different above-the-fold than a spray tanner. Knowing which CTA converts and which one is just decoration. Ten years of web strategy doesn't come out of a prompt.
Why this is the mechanism behind $297 sites that look like $5K sites: the AI ate the production cost. The strategy is still ours, and the savings go to you.
It's not cheating. It's just 2026.
